I personally prefer staying in a log cabin because it allows a more peaceful and restful vacation. Each year we stay in the North Carolina's mountains cabin. There are no noise or a busy corridor and you're not awakened by a sudden knock on the door from room service.
A log cabin is a great way to get the rugged feel of the outdoors without the ruggedness of a tent. A big resort might provide luxury, but it's definitely more expensive. Anyway, the closeness to nature is truly refreshing!
People choose log cabin holidays because they feel it is similar to a bed and breakfast,or because of the historic feel.Also,there are great photo-ops at log cabins.
