Junior high girls are going through a tremendously insecure time. Their bodies are changing, their subculture places immense importance on looks and popularity, and they don't yet have social and emotional skills to deal with it - and hormones amplify the emotional drama. Some teen girls are bullies whose teasing, threats, and aggressive behavior needs to be stopped by adults.
