Who wrote the Doctor Who Weekly comics?

I know these are a Marvel comic series, but I am not very familiar with them.

The United Kingdom branch of Marvel Comics is responsible for writing and publishing Doctor Who Weekly when it first began in 1979. It was first published weekly but then it changed to a monthly publication a year after it first was produced. It is now edited by Tom Spilsbury.

Various writers contributed articles to these comics, for example Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, Dave Gibbons, Mike McMahon, John Ridgway to name but a few

There were a couple of comic book artists for Doctor Who Weekly, but their most famous comic book artist was Steve Dillon, a British comic book artist renowned for his work in other popular comics like Hellblazer, Preacher or The Punisher. Steve Dillon joined the team in the 80s.
