Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote "The Blithedale Romance" in 1852. This romance story traces the development of a friendship among a group of individuals. While Hawthorne adamantly declared that the novel was entirely fictional, it is believed that during many points of the work, Hawthorne draws on some of his real-life memories for inspiration.

Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote this in 1852. This book is based on a time where Hawthorne stayed on Brook Farm. Brook Farm was an agricultural and educational commune where Hawthrone spent several months. Enjoy!
