Who or what determines the cost of milk?

The amount of food that cost to feed the cows, wages, land that houses the cows, how many people are working with the cows, the weather - is heating needed?

Milk prices are generally determined by the current demand for milk. When consumers want large amounts of milk, the price will raise. When consumers demand less milk, price decreases.

The most important factor in milk prices are actual the middle men; gas prices are important as are the mark ups.
