Who makes good 20 gauge shotguns or guns for a beginner?

In my opinion you can't get a better shotgun than Mossberg. Other make a good shotgun but Mossberg surpasses them all in quality and ease of shooting. For the beginner you might want to try one of the lower end makers such as Stevens or H&R. Both of these have a low priced entry model and they are decent shotguns.

The best brand for someone who is deciding to purchase a shotgun would definitely be Ruger. The kickback isn't extremely powerful for someone who is firing off the thing for the first time. They're easy to clean and make a nice impact on the target.

Mossberg makes a great 20 gauge shotgun in a youth size, that I find works well for women as well as smaller men.
