No, Blue Velvet was a VERY dark movie made in 1986, starring Dennis Hopper (who won best supporting actor), Isabella Rossellini, Kyle MacLahlan, Dean Stockwell, and Laura Dern. This is a very highly acclaimed film, but is very disturbing, and is nothing like anything Rick Moranis or Steve Martin have ever been in.

Blue Velvet starred Kyle MacLachlan, Isabella Rossellini, Laura Dern, and most famously, Dennis Hopper. Also appearing were Hope Lange, Dean Stockwell, Priscilla Pointer, George Dickerson, Frances Bay, and others including David Lynch regulars Jack Nance and Brad Dourif. Rick Moranis and Steve Martin weren't in Blue Velvet, but did appear together in another film called "My Blue Heaven."
