Who discovered penicillin?

Alexander Fleming is the primary founder of the penicillin. He discovered this in the year 1928 when he was doing experiments in his pile of petri dish with an anti-biotic agent but it got contaminated with mold so later on he discovered lysozyme accidentally which killed the bacteria in his dish and this was the start of his breakthrough.

A bacteriologist by the name of Alexander Fleming. He discovered it by chance when he discovered mold growing on one of his true experiments and the active ingredient in it turned out to be an infection fighting substance.He discovered it in 1928

Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin in 1928. It was an aciidental find as he had some petri dishes that he just let be. He noticed that something was killing the bacteria, thus we know have penicillin as a good antibiotic. The down side is there are a lot of people who are allergic to it.

Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin while working in his lab. He had some old Petri dishes that has been left unattended and noticed that mold (penicillin) killed the bacteria growth.
