Dalai Lama, Thich Nhat Hanh, Dharma Master Cheng Yen, Daisaku Ikeda, Sogyal Rinpoche. These are the only ones I know of.

The Dalai Lama is considered one of the best and most recognizable Buddhist leader in the world today. Others notable ones include Zoketsu Norman Fischer, Bhikkhuni Kusuma, and Ashin Nyanissara.

Thich Nhat Hanh is by far the best buddhist leader. Educated at Princeton University, he helped provide aid to bombed villages and was nominated for the nobel peace prize.

The most famous Buddhism leader is the Dalai lama, the current one being Tenzin Gyatso. Other important religious Buddhist leaders are Sik Kok Kwong, the current president of the Hong Kong Buddhist Association, and the Vietnamese Thich Nhat, Tu founder of Buddhism Today Association and abbot of Giac Ngo monastery.

The most commonly known Buddhist leader is Gautama Buddha. He was the founder of Buddhism, and his principles and disciplines of the religion have maintained sound throughout the years. Another well known Buddhist leader is the Dalai Lama. They both taught the founding principles of Buddhism across the world throughout centuries.

The best religious leaders in Buddhism are the ones who inspire the most respect and devotion thus enabling followers to lead meaningful and fulfilled lives for the greater good
