Which is the better shingle - Timberline vs. Tamko?

You need to consider a number of aspects, such as the colour palette available for each one of these. Tamko heritage has apparently a broader palette than Timberline. Certain experts suggest that Tamko has also better quality shingles, and, their shingles are better protected against the algae.

I feel timberline is the best shingle on the market. I have them on my house and have never had a problem with them. I would insist on timberline anytime I needed roof work on my house. Tamko shingles are considered to be a quality product but I would not use them.

The best thing to do is some research on the Internet. Your first criterion you will want to compare is how long they will last. 30-year shingles are the best. Next you need to look at the selection of color and type. If both types of shingle last the same amount of time, the looks should make your choice.

Timberline is the best shingle. Because it seems to be the best in the world consists of the better part which is to lead the tamko. So we can say that the timberline is the best shingle. And also the better type which will be having the most efficiency. The cost is low.

My best friend who is a roofer that Tamko is as good as Timberline. Without knowing where you live I can't answer specifically which will be best. You should take in factors such as impact resistance (for hail), algae/mold resistance (especially for high humidity area).

One can go in for shingle-Timberline vs. Tamko because both have the same properties. Make sure that what you have paid is worth on your roof. You must go in for the one that with stands the hail storm and protects you from natural calamities. Laying it must be done properly.

Clarification! - Elk which had the Prestique shingle saved the GAF Corporation. GAF plants are the oldest and most inefficicent plants in the US. Elk plants in Myerstown, PA and Tuscaloosa, AL have been the savior for GAF. Haymond got what he deserved! Greed,incompetence and fear rules at GAF.
