Which foods can carry salmonella?

Normally raw meat such as chicken. Best way to prevent it, keep chicken on the bottom shelf if possible. Wash cutting boards thoroughly.

Raw poultry and eggs are often carriers of salmonella. Wash your hands after handling these foods raw and never use utensils on cooked food that were used on raw food.
