Asparagus, Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Collard Greens, Kale, Parsley, Spinach -- most green vegetables are very high in iron, in addition to beef, tofu and fish.

The food high in iron contents are which turn black after a little time since when they are cut. One of the best examples of iron rich food is Apple. The other high iron content item is Carrot. Then comes manago in the list. Even the pulses are rich in iron content.

iron rich foods includes all GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES (such as spinach, Asparagus, Broccoli, Collard Greens, Mustard Greens, Kale, Turnip Greens, Parsley, Cabbage), NUTS (such as Almonds, Cashews, Walnuts, Sunflower Seeds, Sesame, Tahini), DRY FRUITS (like Apricots, Rasins, Dates - Prunes, Figs), Salmon, Shrimp, Tuna, Oysters, Clams and some seafoods, chicken and egg yolk.
