There are many respected drama programs in the country, but first, you must determine if you want a B.F.A. (Bachelor of Fine Arts) or B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) degree. The former is catered to pre-professionals. One popular program is NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. The B.A. program allows for a more rounded education and is offered at most institutions.
