Depends on the Honda. On most cars, the speedometer sensor is attached to the transmission, to read the RPM on the output shaft. Cars equipped with anti-lock brakes have a wheel speed sensor at each wheel, and it would be possible to use that to measure vehicle speed though not many do.

It is actually different for every model but you can find it near the transmission. It is a small piece with two wires connecting to it. It might be located with the power steering, so you need to give more information.

he Vehicle Speed Sensor is located underneath the thermostat housing. The 1991 model is basically the same as 1994. Other models and years the sensor is located on top of the transmission, in the back towards the firewall. It has a connector going to it and not too difficult to replace. You would need the year to know for sure.

It depends on the exact model and year but most automatic and manual hondas speed sensors are located on the transmission. It will most likely be a small sensor with two wires.

It is located on top of the power steering speed sensor housing, right below the thermostat housing. Should be able to locate it now.

1. Disconnect the 3-P connector from the vehicle speed sensor (VSS). 2. Remove the mounting bolts, then remove the VSS. NOTE: The VSS drive link is a very small part, be careful not to lose it. 3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
