As my own experience shows, the safest and most convenient place to carry a condom is in the sock. Ususally before putting a condom on you have to take your clothes off. And while taking off the pants and socks you will get your condom just in your hand.

It's best to carry a condom somewhere that won't be exposed to a lot of heat or friction- the wallet is a bad idea! Perhaps a metal ID case or something of the sort, where the condom won't be rubbing directly against anything.

The only real safe place is in a bag/purse. Keeping the condom in a small, confined space such as your pocket, wallet or shoe for a long period of time exposes it to heat, pressure and moisture and renders it much less effective as a contraceptive.

In the box, in a backpack. but that's probably inconvenient. you find advice that keeping it in your wallet or pocket is unsafe (heat and friction). A purse is a fine place to store condoms
