Where is the IAT sensor located on my Chevrolet?

Directly behind the dash to the right of the radio head unit. Its a small black box that needs to be handled with care, they are very easy to damage.

The intake air temperature sensor is usually located in the engine air cleaner cover or in the air intake tube near the passenger fender.

Well typically it is either located in the air intake tube somewhere or it is part of the mass airflow sensor sensor. Since you didn't specify a year or model then you will have to check both locations to find it.

There are many different models of cars within the Chevrolet family that can vary, but it may be built into the Mass Airflow Sensor. This may be found between the air cleaner and the throttle body, in the ducting.

The IAT Sensor is located directly behind the dash to the right of the radio head unit. Its a small black box that needs to be handled with care, they are very easy to damage. The best way to access the IAT Sensor is to take the radio out of the dash to see if it can be accessed easier.

The intake air temperature sensor (IAT) is located on the air intake tube. It's usually just pressed into it's mounting port by hand which can easily be removed/replaced. The IAT sensor has a two wire plug in.

Intake air temp sensor is located in Mass Air Flow Sensor where folded ducting touches airbox. It will be after the airbox and definately before the MAF. It will be round with plug and wires going to it. There are three wires to the MAF and two wires for the IAT only.

The IAT sensor is located in the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Here is a picture as well as a wiring diagram. Where is the intake air temperature sensor located on a 91. If you have a mass air sensor the intake air temperature sensor is built into it. .

Your intake air temp sensor should be pluged into the tube that comes out of your airbox that is connected to the throttle body
