Most vehicles now have a shut off switch that turns off the ignition and fuel supply in the event of a collision. It has to be reset after a collision to enable to start the car. Consult your owners manual for the location. But is usually under the dashboard.

Engines don't have shut off valves. Only for fuels or liquids. If you need to shut off your vehicle then turn the key switch to off. otherwise if your looking for the fuel or liquid shut off switch then looking in your manual will be one great resource. Find them in the cab or in a trunk of your car

The engine shut off valve is situated at the end of the pump on US models, and the oil filter canister is only a few inches away. There is a metal ring that will come off the old valve with a gasket on either side. Inside the valve there is the piston.

There is no "valve" that is used to shut off an engine. If need to stop your engine there is a fuel shut-off. Check your manual for location.

This is another candidate for my muffler bearing drawer. The only shut off for an automobile engine is the ignition switch. Unless you want to consider removing ignition wires until the engine stops or you fry your brains(? )out. Seriously if you are asking this question my suggestion is that you not attempt to work on any engines.
