Look in the engine compartment and locate the engine oil filte. There is a wiring harness connector attached to a small silver and black cylindrical sensor on the side of the engine block. This is the oil pressure sending unit or pressure switch.

A jeep wrangler oils unit is located next to the oil filter and works just like our heart does. The oil filter and sending unite pumps the oil through the cars engine and returns it to the filter to cool off the oil from the engine.

I doubt its from the sending unit either. You have many different oil seals on the vehicle too. A dealer can tell you exactly where the leak is.

Look on the side of the engine block. There will be wires coming out of it. It's pretty obvious.

The oil leak could be coming from anywhere in the engine. The sending unit is near the oil tank in the engine, check the owner manual to see where.

Well you should have an oil tank. The oil sending unit sends the oil pressure to the engine computer. Clean the block and look for the leak.
