She was born in New York, but moved to the Philadelphia area in the early nineties according to one interview. Her official site says she now lives in Yardley, Philadelphia with her husband and three children.

Susan Korman is the author of over twenty books for young readers such as Kung Fu Panda and the Bee MovieShe.She currently works as a freelance writer and a school librarian.Her forthcoming book is called Sid the Science Kid. She lives in Yardley, Pennsylvania, with her husband and three children.
