The IRS does not make many print copies available any more so the easiest way to get the instructions is from the IRS website. Alternatively you can call the IRS and request that they mail you a copy.

The IRS web site has a complete list of forms and publications. On the IRS home page, select Forms and Publications. On the F/P page, select Forms. Select a document called i1040A. (i is for instruction. f1040a is the actual form.) Under publications, select Pub 17 for detailed instructions.

1040a instructions are available online from the IRS in the same place that you can download the 1040a tax form. If you picked up a hard copy of the form at a local library, check there for tax form instructions. Make sure you find the instructions for the correct tax year.

There are several locations you can find the instructions for all IRS forms. The top two locations to check are the IRS website where you can view, download and print the instructions; another option in most locations is the public library, you may have to ask at the desk for specific instruction sheets.

Tax booklets and forms are available at libraries, although you may have to make copies. Otherwise, use the website www. irs. gov for more infomation.

You can locate the 1040a tax for instructions on the internal revenue service website online. It is a government website. Search for the 1040a form in their search bar and once you select it, you will see a link for the instructions on how to complete the form.

The instructions for the 1040a form are on the actual form itself, on the back. However, you can also find the instructions on the IRS website if you only have the form without instructions on it.

You can go to a IRS location in your state or call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 for a mail order or you can print or read the instructions at www. irs. gov

The Internal Revenue Tax site has instructions for each form available for download, for free. Your local public library should have them as well. Many cities have free tax help available for citizens - ask at city hall or your local library.
