At your local city/county or state law enforcement agency there are victm/witness advocates who can steer you to a counsler who can offer help for sexual assaults. Hospitals offer this service as well as mental health departments who work for a county or state mental health agency.

There are plenty of hot lines available if you do not want to attend a counseling session in person. You can also go to an abuse center for some counseling.
Rape is a violation of your personhood. It takes over your life and after a rape people feel like they will never feel normal again. Getting help can change that. If your area has a rape crisis line, call to find out the counselors they recommend. Counselors often list their specialties, so get a list of them in your area.
The local Mental Health Clinic is always a wonderful resource for any type of counceling. Often there are private and group sessions for rape counceling. If the victim is in school, whether high school or college, there are councelors available to them there.
