First, find out if your friends or relatives do woodcarving. Then try craft shows. Some men get table space at these shows and have all kinds of things made of wood. They have toy cars and many other items. You would have to check to see if they make toy guns. Some will take orders with a deposit.

I looked into one site mentioned above, TheToyMonkey Nice quality, 3/4 scale M16, AK47, MP5, Shotgun, and more. A must see. They don't take credit cards, check only. I inquired by email, a small American owned & operated company. Nice to see something made in the USA. ;-)

I would check the Etsy site online, you can order them direct and they seem to always have them. Just search for wooden guns.

You may be able to find homemade toy guns at your local antique stores or if you have a specific model in mind you might contact a carpenter or someone that widdles wood and see if you cannot have them make one for you. Excellent carpenters and people that widdle wood can be found in the Amish and Mennonite communities.

If you have ever been to the popular restaurant chain 'Cracker Barrel', they have a vast assortment of old vintage toys like wooden toy guns or the like.

Disneyland and Walt Disney World sell these in Frontierland shops. Specialty shops in tourist areas are also a great bet.

you can try to find a wooden gun on amazon or a hobbies shop in your area. i am sure they should carry them. they might even have a kit to where you can make your own.

I know of only very few places to get these toys still to this day. If you live near any Amish areas go there they have all wooden toys.
