Basically, Depending on growth and condition, best possible age is 8-10 months. It must always be determined by the owner, not the buck. Also, we can judge that when pygmy goats can be bred is that it can physically get pregnant once they have their first heat cycle, which is anywhere between 2 months and 6 months of age

Pigmy goats should not get pregnant before their third heat cycle or it could result in deformities. Make sure you get it checked out by a vet.

Pigmy goats produce as quickly as they are born. Pigmy goats can reproduce at a very late age in life.

Pigmy goats try to hump from the day they are born, but they cannot get pregnant till they reach maturity. A pigmy goat reaches maturity at about two and a half years old. That is when they are considered full grown. Pigmy goats must be born with a lot of testosterone!
