When does the last book for Eragon come out?

Everyone loves the story created by Christopher Paolini. The Eragon Trilogy, now with a fourth volume in the works, is beloved by fans. Mr. Paolini is currently hard at work promoting book 3 and working on book 4. As of December 2009, there is no release date for book 4.

There is no publication date as yet. As is the case with any popular series, the time between subsequent books gets longer and longer as the series continues. Keep in mind that the author, who at one time was writing and trying to get published, is not involved with the movies, interviews and other projects.

No official date for the last Eragon book has been released yet. Stay tuned, though, as the author is still writing it. A release date will be announced when it's ready.
