When do puppies get their shots?

I recently got my very first dog, I know that they have to get shots to protect them from various things but do not know the shot schedule.

Usually when you collect the pup they are given the first shot that is when they are 15 days old ,then the second shot after a week, third after 20 days and last after a month of the previous shot. The shots are of rabies, vaccine, etc. kindly visit your vetenary for the first shot.

Some immunization comes from their mother's milk for the first 48 hours(colustrum). Six weeks of age for the first vaccine and boosters every three weeks until about 16 weeks old.

You should see your vet to get the puppy their first series of shots immediately. After that, your vet will put you on a schedule every six months to a year for future treatment. Enjoy your puppy, and remember to keep him inside this time of year!

The age at first vaccination is as follows: distemper 6-10 weeks,10-12 weeks, 14-16 weeks. Canine hepatitis, bordetellosis, parainfluenza, 6-8 weeks, and there after the same schedule as for distemper. Leptospirosis 10-12 and 14-16 weeks. Rabies 12 and 64 weeks and thereafter every year or three. Coronavirus follow canine hepatitis schedule.
