Google was started in 1996 by 2 Stanford University graduate students Larry Page and Sergei Brin. Initially it was a research project to prove their theory about search engines.

Google was started as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were students in 1996. The domain was registered in 1997, and in 1998, the company Google Inc. was founded.

Google was founded on September 4th of the year 1998 in California. It's known for its search engine, language converter, e-mail, and etc. Google was founded by two students from Stanford University named Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

Google was incorporated as a privately held company on September 4, 1998. It became public on August 19, 2004. It was started by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. It was founded in Menlo Park, California.

Google technically began as a PhD research project in January of 1996. The website www. google. com and the incorporation of the company happened in September of 1997.
