When all parts of a circuit are composted of conducting materials the circuit is said to be what?

I need help is solving this circuit question.

First, it's a completed circuit. If a NON-conducting material is present (example, air), it's an open circuit. If only wire is present (no load), it's also a short circuit.

When all of the elements of the circuit are conducting material the circuit could be described as closed. A circuit with non-conducting elements between the conductors could be described as open.

The circuit in question would be labeled as a direct current as opposed to AC, which is alternate current. The difference between the two, is that direct current lacks a ground. Direct current is a single flow of electricity, where alternate current charge is able to flow in both directions. Direct current was the original form of energy distribution.
