Start by pulling out the stinger (using tweezers). Then apply a paste of baking soda and water, or if you are stuck out in nature, a paste of mud and water. Both treatments will help reduce the inflammation. Giving an antihistamene is always a good idea as well, to protect in case of an unexpected allergic reaction.

Scrape the stinger out rather than pull it out to lessen the amount of venom going into the tissue. Apply one part meat tenderizer to four parts water for no longer than 20 minutes. This lessens the pain. Apply cold compresses for swelling and take acetaminophen (Tylenol)for pain as directed.

First, make sure to remove the stinger if it has not already fallen out. Then you can use an anti septic spray or ointment, if you have one with pain reliever in the "caine" family and any sort of antihistamine additive will help both the pain and any possible itching. Then dress the wound.

Remove the stinger immediately. Use an ice pack to reduce the swelling at the site of the sting and take OTC pain relievers.

A rapid treatment for the stinging of a bee is to rub that spot with a piece of iron. If it is possible use salty water for cleaning the spot.

Remove stinger. The longer the stinger is in the more pain you'll have. wash area with soap and water, apply ice rapped in fabric for 20 in 5 min increments.
