What's the most effective way for getting rid of silverfish and preventing them from coming back?

These come into the home thru the drains. After the last use of each drain for the day, pour a mixture of 1 part bleach to 5 parts water.No more than half a cup per drain is needed. This will stop any new ones coming into your home. Once the current ones have been destroyed, your problem is solved.

Silverfish like moisture, and if they're around your tub and toilet, make sure to have bath mats around so that water is not left around the floor. Leave the shower door or the shower curtain open to help air out the bathroom. Also, make sure that there is sufficient caulking on your tub and toilet.

Silverfish LOVE water that's why they're there. Try getting an exterminator there. I had a friend who had this problem, and this was the only thing that would have fixed it. Raid spray doesn't work great in those areas with all the water

Silverfish seem to like damp areas. There are many sprays on the market for this purpose so you would just spray around areas where they are coming in
