The highest score on the ACT is a 36 in each section (5 sections total). Perfect scores in one or more sections have been achieved for example by students in MO at Mehlville High School.

The highest score that one can receive on the ACT standardized test is a 36. This is the equivalent to a score of 2400 on the SAT. However, most or all schools will not require anything this high.

The highest score you can get on the ACT is a 30. I did not get this score instead I got in the 20's. Many people recommend taking the ACT over the SAT because the questions are less biased and the test seems to be a bit easier then the SAT.
