What's the fix for the Chevy 3.1 flaw where the manifold gasket leaks?

It's not covered under the warranty.

You have to remove the upper and lower intake manifolds and replace the gaskets. You will also have to remove the valve covers in order to remove the intake gaskets.

If the manifold constantly leaks then you may need to either true up the mating surfaces or increase the bolt torque. Also use a quality brand gasket.

The only fix that I know of for a leaking manifold gasket is to replace the gasket. This is not an easy task and should be undertaken only by a qualified mechanic or someone with exstensive Do It Yourself experience.

The only fix for a leaking manifold gasket is to completely replace it. However, if your engine falls within a certain time period where the manufacturer had problems the replacement gaskets will be a superceded/better material which should fix the problem.
