Despite claims to the contrary, there is no "easy way to make money" online. Oh, if all the claims were true! Worthwhile, profitable ventures take time and planning, and often require an investment of cash, as well as experience and know-how. Those who claim to have done well with no effort are seriously under-exaggerating the situation.

I think its easy to make moderate amounts of money if you are willing to devote the time. You can write articles for sites or performing other work. But if you intend to make serious money, you are probably not going to be able to use some existing "system."

  • The people who make a lot of money (the kind of money that allows you to quit a "day job"), all do something at least a little different than everyone else. People that I know that just follow some program sometimes make a little, but its usually not worth it.

Create a cool product, create a cool website to sell the product with, and advertise and sell your product. The hardest part might be coming up with product ideas, but it might just be worth it.

Amazon's Mechanical Turk is a good way to make money online. You log on and complete simple tasks for money which you can transfer to your bank account or purchase items on Amazon. Many people make around $10 an hour. Some tasks take seconds and pay $.01 and some take hours and pay up to $10.

Try becoming a ChaCha guide. ChaCha is a service that answers people's random questions, and they need researchers to find the solutions. You can do it entirely from home and you learn at the same time. Some training required, but there's no fee.
