What's a good remedy for a dog with constipation?

I know this worked on my puppy when he ate something and it got stuck. You can give them a nice warm bath and rub there tummy. It will help with it. I had asked my vet and he said to try that first before taking my puppy to the vet.

A dog with constipation requires regular exercise like walking in addition to a proper diet. To alleviate the problem further we can add two teaspoons of barn to the dogs meal. And be sure to give the dog plenty of water to drink.
