Apply ice pack on wrists or heat. Don't sit or stand in same position for long periods of time and stretch fingers occasionally. Prevention beforehand includes-taking vitamin B6 and B vitamins in general, use fat-handle tools when working with tools, and wear wrist splints or other, especially at night.

Rest is the best remedy for carpel tunnel pain. Let the area rest by not moving it as much. Apply ice for ten minutes on and twenty minutes off. Also, soak the area in warm water with epsom salt once a day.

A medical treatment for carpel tunnel pain is a wrist brace that immobilizes it to reduce motion in that area. You can try bandaging your wrist and then treating it with alternating hot/cold pads which may reduce the irritation.

Getting someone to massage your forearms is great!! I love the feeling of being totally relaxed while someone kneads the other end of the tendons. But sometimes you can't afford a massage. Second best thing is to get yourself some Arnica gel or cream! This stuff works wonders for sore, stiff muscles. Get some at a health food store.
