I knew a guy who had that problem and it was from his legs rubbing together. Most men sweat around that area and sometimes they are called sweat bumps. Try using a medicated powder on the area after you shower. Sometimes a reaction to the laundry soap you are using could cause those bumps. Good luck!

Small bumps in that area would most likely be acne, ingrown hairs, fungal infection, or possibly a contact dermatitis. Watch them to see if they resolve. Don't wear tight clothing. Keep the area clean. Avoid shaving the area. If the symptoms get worse see a doctor. If you are concerned you could be infected with HIV you should be tested.

I would think it could be heat bumps or if they are getting larger it could be a staph infection.

Skin bumps in the groin could be due to various causes. They could be irritated hair follicles or ingrown hairs. They might be Herpes simplex, if they are blisterlike and itchy. Keep the area clean, wear clean clothes, and apply a topical antibiotic. If that does not help, see your doctor.
