There is likely a problem with a nerve in your neck. You could have easily hurt something in your sleep. Take Tylenol or Motrin and see if that helps.

It may be due to stiff neck. Best natural remedy is sleeping without pillow. Initially you maynot get proper sleep. Don't sit hours together in front of computer or TV.
