I just found out that my former employer (a restaurant) filmed everything to use against employees!

That depends upon the employer. Some will do nothing. Some will have you arrested. Just depends upon the severity of the incident and the employer.

What will happen is that you will have to kiss up to that employee if you are found on that tape. Then you will have to kiss your advancement in that company goodbye.
