Venus was the Roman goddess of love and beauty. She also was connected to luck. She was married to the God Vulcan. Most of Venus' attributes were borrowed from the Greek Goddess Aphrodite. Nobody still worships her, but there are old temples in Italy or Greece that you could visit.

The goddess venus was primarily responsible for sexual love, but is also a personification of peace, and occasionally, generative powers. Some neopagans venerate her; others worship goddesses with similar purviews but different names, roles, or mythologies.
