Diana was the Roman goddess of the moon, the hunt and all things associated with it - the wild, the forests and woodlands, and animals. She is also the goddess not only of purity and virginity, but also of fertility and motherhood.

Diana was a goddess in Roman mythology. She was the goddess of the hunt and was associated with wild animals and the woodland, and sometimes the moon. She was also an emblem of chastity and considered oak groves to be sacred. She is basically the Roman version of the Greek goddess Artemis.
