Anything after 1992 will have a similar width of around 73 to 74 inches and a 3.8L engine. Before that it was nearly 20 inches narrower. From 2000 to 2005 is the last and best "generation" of LeSabres. The coolest LeSabre ever is the 1985 LTD Collectors Edition.

1992, I have a 92 Buick still going in 94 they went to the plastic intake plenum which do have a tendency to leak sometimes earlier engines had aluminum intakes.

I personally find that the 2008s are a good year for the Buick LeSabre. That year Buick had fewer recalls or problems with their vehicles. Just about anything from 2009 is a good automobile.
