The women wore long dresses, with vertical frills starting at the bottom of the dress, and continuing to the top. They always wore hats with large feathers. The men wore coats over wastecoats, with usually a bow tie. The collars were turned up in a wing-like form. They also wore trousers,usually brown in color.
