What vitamins and herbs are good for relaxation?

I want to take something natural, not a drug.

Valerian root is probably my favourite herb of choice for relaxation and sleep enhancement. I do a lot of landscape work and its involves large amounts of strenuous activity. I take two or three Valerian tablets and the tension starts to slowly melt away. I generally take them in the evening and they also promote sleep.

Use these herbs: Lavender, California Poppy, Valerian, Hops, KavaKava, Chamomile, Skullcap. Often these are mixed together in some form in tinctures, herbal teas, and pill capsules, your choice. Try them; you'll find you like one better than others. Oriental Medicine provides pill formulas such as "Peaceful Spirit. " It has too many ingredients to list, but it works!
