Some foods to avoid while breastfeeding are gassy foods like beans or broccoli. Sometimes eating these foods while breastfeeding can give the baby gas and irritate already colicky babies.
There is no reason to change your diet. This is the first way to introduce your baby to a variety of foods. Dont breastfeed within 2 hours of multiple drinks.
You should avoid eating anything that makes you gassy. Also avoid excessive caffeine. Some caffeine is fine. Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages. All of these are passed on through breast milk.
A nursing (a. k. a. breastfeeding) mother must avoid meat because meat contains the suffering and terror of the slaughterhouse and what the mother eats may affect the baby physically and/or emotionally. Meat also contaings the hormones and antibiotics that are forced of the animals, as well as the toxins that come from mistreatment before the final monstrous slaughter.
