The content that goes in the wedding reception invitation card is always very importatnt. Try and keep it simple but yet beautiful. Make sure it has all the information about the wedding date, place and time. Most importantly give a short introduction about the one you are getting married to.

It should be told in a polite manner that I have got married with so and so on such and such date and now for celebrating the marriage your auspicious presence is solicited. (Date, time and place to be specified).

You can write invitations a number of different ways. Just make you that you remember to include the names of the bride and groom, the date and time of the wedding, and the location of the ceremony.
