The earliest toothbrushes were chewing sticks used by Babylonians. The Chinese invented the first bristle brush around 1600 A.D. By the early 1800's, many people owned manufactured toothbrushes.

It should be soft and elasticity to move around forward,upward and around round.Without more pressure it should work well .

There is little need to know anything about this subject. It is more important to know how to use a toothbrush, and how often. See your dentist.
