First, you'll need to strip, sand, and re-seal the slab. Take your measurements, map out your pattern, and make sure to start from the middle and work your way out. This is a step many people miss-don't make that mistake! Lastly, you want to seal and finish the floor to make the floor appear uniform.

What you should know is that stick on tiles are the worst thing you could ever possibly install in your home. They don't last long, have a terrible finish, and are a nightmare to remove. If you decide to install, be sure the floor is level (may need patching), and completely clean so the adhesive can stick properly.
