Your tire pressure sensors are really important. Keeping your tires within the right pressure range will save you money on gasoline, will not wear as quickly as if their pressure were out of tolerance, and will not puncture as easy with a foreign object such as a nail.

They are electronic, meaning that if the fuse board that controls your electronics goes out so will your tire sensor.

Cold weather, or drastic change from hot to cold will cause them to go off. Keep them at proper inflation and you should never have trouble out of them. If it's something your really worried about, or it just wont go off, take it to the dealership they will be more than happy to look at it.

Kia's tire pressure sensor measures the pressure and temperature in the tire. If the tire pressure of any of the 4 tires is low, it gives a warning signal.

Just a heads-up warning with the TPMS system- don't rely on inflating your tires with a Fix-A-Flat type fluid inflator-it can gum up your expensive transmitter which is installed right inside your valve

Unless you change your own tire then all you need to know is how to reset them. Unless one suddenly stops working they don't need anything else done to them. Just remember when changing tires or rims it will ad some cost to the job to re-install them.

Very important to keep the right pressure in tires. You can save on gas, will reduce the wear and tear, and not easily get nails or objects in tires. If you don't know how to check it then take it to a dealer to get the correct pressure for tires.
