You will have solar heat gain in the sunny winter, but you have to add enough heat (from furnace) for the cloudy days. Make sure to install interior shading to reduce the solar gain in the summer. You may be able to tie into the homes existing HVAC system.

If you are wanting to heat or cool a sun room then you will have to make sure you have the air turned off.
