Baby birds should be fed small ground up soft foods. these foods can include worms and soft legumes. Feedings several times a day is acceptable. Do not overfeed them and do not feed them things that will swell in their bellies. If you are not sure if the food is safe, contact a pet store.

Baby macaws are to be fed very carefully,if possible, in an open place. It is always good if the same person feeds them. Avoid hard shelled items. Set aside plenty of water.People who are not experienced should never go near them or else they will fly away.Edible seeds can be given at regular intervals. They should be fed twice or thrice.

Baby macaws should not eat more than their body weight in seed/feed per day. This could lead to potential morbid obesity. Not a good thing for lifeforms of any species.
