Really all you need to know is that too much pressure can be bad for the engine. It can cause seals to blow out and make oil leak past piston rings and valve seals. Keep pressure down by making sure your PVC system stays clean and free of clogs.

Crankcase pressure is a slight vacuum, and ordinary engine wear will create only minor blowby. If you are getting enough positive pressure to cause billowing out the dipstick tube, clean the oil trap (vent box under the intake manifold). If your model has a flame trap, replace it also.

Although there is no dedicated crankcase gauge, the power steering or ABS brake light will sometimes kick on if the crankcase pressure is running low.

I'm not really sure what you want to know about crankcase pressure. This is pressure that is generated inside the engine by the oiling system and by the heat. It typically isn't an issue except on older high mileage engines. Some engine get deposits in the venting ports and can cause oil blow-buy and leaking gaskets.
